We are very pleased to see your interest in our brand-new US location, and we confirm that it is possible to migrate your servers to our US location.

Migrations can be offered starting from May this year, and we will get back to you at the end of April to discuss a migration strategy. Since we have developed different strategies and are currently improving all to make every migration a great experience for everyone who participates, it makes no sense to give you detailed information beforehand. Migration options might change, and we do not want to discuss theoretical things with you. This would make the process only inefficient and complicated. Rest assured we will have optimized all migration strategies and offer you the best solution at the end of this month.

We want to make sure you are aware of the most important facts and we know exactly your needs:

(1) Products available in the US location

In our US location we offer only VPS from the series "100% SSD" and Dedicated Servers 10-Core. Product-specific add-ons are all available without restrictions. Having this in mind, we can migrate only VPS SSD including all add-ons and Dedicated Servers 10-Core including all add-ons. We cannot migrate any other services.

(2) Location fee

We were able to keep the same prices for all of our services in both EU and US location. At the same time, we had to introduce a location fee for products situated in our US location, as the operating costs in the US (including electricity, cooling, and data center floor) are higher. We have included an overview for your information:

* Location fee VPS S SSD:             +  1.00 EUR per month
* Location fee VPS M SSD:             +  2.00 EUR per month
* Location fee VPS L SSD:             +  3.00 EUR per month
* Location fee VPS XL SSD:             +  6.00 EUR per month
* Location fee Dedicated Server 10-Core: + 20.00 EUR per month

(3) IP address change

Only specific IP addresses do work in the networks of our different locations. This leads to a situation that we definitely have to assign a new IP address to each server which will be migrated to the US location. Therefore, it will be necessary to adapt the DNS configuration for domains translating to the current IP addresses; you will have to make these domains point to the new IP address then.

(4) What do we expect you to do?

We consider a good preparation in the run-up to migration an essential part of the whole process. For this reason, we kindly ask you to take note of what has written before. Moreover, if not done already, please let us know which of your servers you would like to migrate (please specify all servers including IP address).

As soon as we get your response as a confirmation so to say, we will put you on hold and get back to you in a couple of weeks to discuss the migration and all details further.
